Raiffeisenbank (Czech Republic) and NPO Saturn sign an agreement to finance supply of high-tech equipment
January, 28th 2013, Rybinsk – On January, 21st in Prague two credit agreements for the overall amount of 4.6 million euros were signed between NPO Saturn and Raiffeisenbank (Czech Republic). These credit agreements were entered into with the purpose of financing the acquisition of the equipment supplied Aquacomp Hard s.r.o (Czech Republic) and used by NPO Saturn for upgrading its production capacity.
According to Alexey Sobolev, NPO Saturn deputy CEO – chief financial officer, “the signature of these agreements is the first step towards the implementation of the joint program aimed at financing the Czech-made machinery, the overall volume of supply is expected to exceed 30 million euros over the next three years. Leveraging the supply-funding instruments allows us to considerably reduce the customer’s expenditure linked to servicing the financing, and to also expand the credit repayment term”.

The NPO Saturn corporate newspaper rated among TOP-10 best corporate publications issued by industrial companies
January, 21st 2013, Rybinsk – The NPO Saturn corporate publication – the Saturn newspaper (published since 1929) – has been voted among the TOP-10 best corporate mass media issued by Russia’s industrial companies based on the rating administered by the “Production management” business portal. The editor-in-chief Sergey Zhishkevich noted that he fully shares the reader’s and the experts’ choice as this Saturn’s publication is read with unchanging interest and enjoyment.
PERM ENGINE PLANT (PMZ) AND AVIADVIGATEL ARE NOW UNDER SATURN’S CONTROL
January, 17th 2013, Rybinsk – During the extraordinary general shareholders meetings held at the beginning of 2013, the shareholders of the Aviadvigatel and the Perm Engine Plant companies made a resolution to transfer to NPO Saturn the authority of the sole executive body in the frame of creating the “Civil aviation engines” division.
On January, 9th 2013 an extraordinary general shareholders meeting took place at the PMZ, and on January, 11th at Aviadvigatel. The main items on the agenda of the meetings were the termination of authority of the United engine corporation managing company exercising the powers of a sole executive body until then, and transferring the authority of the sole executive body with relation to the PMZ and Aviadvigatel to NPO Saturn. The absolute majority of shareholders voted for transferring the authority of the sole executive body to NPO Saturn. The authority of the United engine corporation managing company has been terminated ahead of its term.
NPO SATURN AND SOLOVYEV RYBINSK STATE AVIATION TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY (RGATU) WIN A COMPETITION AND BECOME ELIGIBLE FOR GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIES TO CREATE HIGH-TECH PRODUCTION SITES
January, 17th 2013, Rybinsk – The Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation has chosen the winners of an open public competition to select the organizations that would become eligible for receiving government aide in implementing end-to-end projects seeking to create high-tech production sites. The winners of the competition’s third round were 67 companies working in cooperation with 53 Russian higher-learning institutions and 3 state scientific organizations. The projects will be implemented in 48 Russian territories.
