NPO Saturn was awarded an Employer confidence certificate
March 24, 2014, Rybinsk. - Today, NPO Saturn was visited by the head of the State labor inspection for the Yaroslavl region Evgeniy Maslennikov. The result of visiting the NPO Saturn production facilities and the meeting with the leaders of the company and the trade union on the items of observing the labor regulations was the award of an Employer confidence certificate.
The original Employer confidence certificate was awarded to NPO Saturn back in 2010 as an employer who diligently observes the labor code provisions. In December 2013 the company’s management conjointly with the NPO Saturn trade union applied for the prolongation of the existing Employer confidence certificate for the following 5 years.
The international technological forum “Innovation. Technology. Manufacturing” closed its session
March 20, 2014, Rybinsk. - On March 19, 2014 the international technological forum “Innovation. Technology. Manufacturing” completed its session in Rybinsk.
The forum was organized by the Gas turbine machinery and power engineering innovative territorial cluster, NPO Saturn, the P.A. Solovev Rybinsk State Aviation Technical University (RSATU), the Government of the Yaroslavl region, the Yaroslavl branch of the Russian union of mechanical engineers as well as the Saxony economy facilitation department (Germany) and the Safran Group (France). The forum partners were the Northern Bank of Sberbank of Russia and Vympelcom (the Beeline brand).
The results of the young scientists contest were drawn up during the forum

The implementation of a dual education system in the Yaroslavl region was discussed during a “Training for a technological leader” panel discussion
March 20, 2014, Rybinsk. - On March 19, 2014 as part of the international technological forum “Innovation. Technology. Manufacturing” the attendees of the “Training for a technological leader” panel discussion reviewed a roadmap of implementing the elements of a dual education system in the Yaroslavl region.
The open project panel discussion comprised the representatives of the Agency for strategic initiatives, the government of the Yaroslavl region, the Russian companies and learning institutions, and the Russian-German foreign trade chamber.

March 18, 2014, Rybinsk. - Today a Memorandum of collaboration was signed between the Yaroslavl regional branch of the Russian union of mechanical engineers and the Saxony economy facilitation department (WFS).
The Memorandum was signed in the frame of the International technological forum dubbed “Innovation. Technology. Manufacturing” and organized by the Gas turbine machinery and power engineering innovative, territorial cluster, NPO Saturn, the P.A. Rybinsk State Aviation Technical University, the Government of the Yaroslavl region, the Rybinsk city hall, the Yaroslavl regional branch of the Russian union of mechanical engineers, the Saxony economy facilitation department (Germany) and the Safran Group (France). The forum is attended by the representatives of large, technologically advanced companies, small-to-medium-sized businesses, higher-learning institutions and vocational training schools as well as by Russian research and development centers.
PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF INNOVATIVE IDEAS WILL BE DEMONSTERATED DURING THE INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGICAL FORUM

NPO Saturn was granted an EASA maintenance organization approval certificate enabling the company to perform maintenance tasks on the SaM146 engines
March 11, 2014, Rybinsk. - On March 6, 2014 the NPO Saturn maintenance organization was certified by European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The signed certificate attests compliance of NPO Saturn with the requirements of the European airworthiness regulations (Part 145) imposed by EASA to organizations performing maintenance related to aeronautical engineering.
Eight engineers representing NPO Saturn’s technical direction received titles and awards following the results of the all-Russian “XIV Engineer of the year 2013” competition
March 7, 2014, Rybinsk. - Based on the official results of the “XIV Engineer of the year 2013” competition, eight engineers from the NPO Saturn technical direction were awarded different titles and presented with awards.
The all-Russian “Engineer of the year” contest has been organized by the Russian Union of scientific and engineering societies conjointly with a number of partner-organizations ever since 2000.
NPO Saturn presented its new industrial turbine applications at the Russia Power - 2014 exposition
March 7, 2014, Rybisnk. - NPO Saturn presented full-scale mock-ups of its industrial turbine engines GTE-4RM and E-70/8RD as part of the integrated United Engine Corporation’s exhibition booth at the XII International “Russia Power - 2014” exposition held in Moscow on 4-6 March 2014.
Management of United Engine Corporation’s (UEC) Civil Engines division reviewed prospects of international collaboration
March 6, 2014, Rybinsk. – Prospects of international collaboration and industrial transformation were reviewed by the board members of UEC’s Civil Engines division (CED).
The board session took place in Rybinsk at NPO Saturn under chairmanship of Ilya Fedorov, chairman of UEC’s Civil Engines division, UEC deputy CEO and NPO Saturn chief executive officer with the participation of Sergey Pavlinich, UEC deputy CEO and chief executive officers of Perm Motor Plant and Aviadvigatel Sergey Popov (CED vice-chairman) and Alexander Inozemtsev, and some other representatives of the Rybinsk- and Perm-based companies.
The main item on the agenda was a presentation made by Christel Gayet, NPO Saturn deputy CEO in charge of transformations and cross-border collaboration.
NPO Saturn employees were awarded the 2013 Russian Government prize in the field of science and engineering
March 5, 2014, Rybinsk. - By the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 20 February 2014 No. 230-ð, the 2013 Russian Government prize in the field of science and engineering in the nomination “Winner of the Russian Government prize in the filed of science and engineering” was awarded to the following employees of NPO Saturn:
- Vladimir Krylov, candidate of technical sciences, NPO Saturn deputy CEO in charge of the “Tooling plant” project; work coordinator;
- Valentina Mitrofanova, design engineer;
- Vladimir Stogov, production director;
- Egor Tsvetkov, candidate of technical sciences, head of a bureau.
