January, 14 2015, Rybinsk. - The “TrampoLEAN to success”, a UEC Commercial Engines Division’s magazine came first in the industrial companies’ magazines rating for 2015 according to the Production management business portal.
The rating was compiled in January 2015 among the corporate media, whereby the materials have been published on the Production management portal in the course of 2014, in the two main categories: “The TOP-10 best corporate magazines” and “The TOP-10 best corporate newspapers”. This year’s novelty was the appearance of nominations in the different industrial segments, such as: “Metallurgy”, “Mechanical engineering”, “Power engineering” and “Oil and gas industry”.
Following the rating results, NPO Saturn’s the “TrampoLEAN to success” magazine won the 1st place in the category “The TOP-10 best corporate magazines" (alongside the corporate publications of the Novolipetsk metallurgical works, the Sukhoi Company, Gazprom Neft, the Pipeline metallurgical company, Tatneft, RUSAL, the Power Machines, the SIBUR holding and Transmachholding).
The “TrampoLEAN to success” (published by NPO Saturn) also came first in the “Mechanical engineering” nomination (together with KAMAZ, the Power Machines, the Sukhoi Company, Atomenergomach, the Arzamas machine-building plant, AVTOVAZ, Transmachholding, VPO Tochmach, the KKU Tractor Plants Group).
NPO Saturn started publishing the thematic, UEC Commercial Engine Division’s very-own magazine dubbed “The TrampoLEAN to success” in 2014. The corporate publication serves as an experience sharing venue in the domain of Lean manufacturing between NPO Saturn and the two Perm-based companies: PMZ and Aviadvigatel.
According to Ilya Fedorov, NPO Saturn chief executive officer and the head of UEC’s Commercial Engines Division, “the divisional publication “The TrampoLEAN to success” has proven to be an ideal ground for exchanging the best practices, devising uniform methodological approaches and motivating all the companies in the division to exercise continuous improvement of their business processes and moving in the same direction in terms of developing the production system. This allows us to improve the efficiency of the new managerial techniques and move quicker towards achieving our common goal - becoming a leader in the international commercial engines market.”
Sergey Zhishkevich, editor-in-chief of the Production management business portal thanked the magazine’s team for having created a high-quality, topical and stylish publication, adding: “the “from practitioners to practitioners” format is always complex, however “The TrampoLEAN to success” was cut out for that format from its very first issue. In the frame of my activity, every month I go through at least 250 corporate magazines and newspapers published by industrial companies. That makes me eligible to say that the emergence of the “TrampoLEAN to success” magazine is indeed a groundbreaking event; I wish there were more publications like that.”
