A presentation session of the Aerospace startup track of the GenerationS 2015 technological project accelerator organized by RVC for the key industry experts will be held on August 24, 2015 in the frame of the Eurasian Aerospace Congress as part of the official business program of the XII International Aerospace Salon (MAKS 2015).
Over 30 startups will present their innovative projects for the judgment of the engine-manufacturing, aviation and space industry experts. The projects were short-listed by the technical and business experts following the results of the 8 online sessions and the progress in the understanding and transformation of the initial idea as to how it relates to the needs of the venture capital market and those of the track’s corporate partners. The partners of the Aerospace track are NPO Saturn, the Russian Space Systems, RKK Energiya, Salut, the Samara State Aviation University and some others.
In the course of the presentation session at the Eurasian Aerospace Congress these projects will be presented to the leading industry experts - the heads of the innovation departments of the state and private enterprises. The experts will be able to judge the prospects of project viability in the adjacent or other technological industries. The following companies will be invited to participate in the project evaluation: the Rostec State Corporation, United Engine Corporation, Russian Helicopters, United Aircraft Corporation, the Safran Group (France), etc. including the Skolkovo Fund experts and some other growth institutes.
In which way evolves the present-day innovative entrepreneurship undoubtedly evokes great interest among the participants of the Eurasian aerospace congress. The congress is considered as one of the key events of the MAKS 2015 International Aerospace Salon taking place in Zhukovskiy from 25 to 30 August 2015. The main objectives of the congress are the reinforcement of collaboration between the industrial and scientific companies operating in the aerospace industry, the expert community and the state and private managerial elite. The global agenda of the 2015 congress is summarized as “the strategic changes in the world aerospace industry: new managerial challenges and the overall outlook. The key-note topics of the congress being the following:
• new approaches to improving the management in the aerospace industry;
• ensuring sustainable development of the aerospace industry;
• effective interaction between the science and the industry;
• innovation management in the aerospace industry;
• commercialization of space technology;
• education and career in the aerospace industry;
• expansion of international cooperation in the aerospace business.
The innovative edge of the projects short-listed by the expert board of the GenerationS’s Aerospace track represents a technological solution of applied and global tasks of developing the aerospace industry which corresponds directly to the agenda of the Eurasian Aerospace Congress and the MAKS 2015 Air Show.
The congress itself and a series of presentation sessions will take place on August 24, 2015 in Moscow at the Congress Park of the Radisson Royal Hotel (2/1 Kutozovskiy Avenue, building 6) at 09:00.

GenerationS is a federal accelerator of technological startups during which the best projects short-listed through a multi-staged expert evaluation see intense development and wide opportunities with relation to attracting investments. GenerationS is hosted by RVC since 2013 with the support of Russian corporations, growth institutes and venture capital market players.
Since 2015 the GenerationS resources have been used in creating corporate and industrial accelerators in tight collaboration with major Russian corporations. The corporations are directly involved in the selection process, expert evaluation and acceleration of the GenerationS startups driven by its proper needs in innovative developments.
GenerationS-2015 is conducted in seven different fields (also known as tracks): Power&Energy, Telecom Idea, Robotics, Aerospace, SmartCity, Oil&Gas and BiotechMed. All the participants of corporate accelerators will be given an opportunity to receive a grant-in-aid in the amount of RUB 1 million awarded by the Fund for the facilitation of development of small businesses in the field of science and technology. The winners of GenerationS will share the prize fund awarded by RVC and its partners, minimal prize fund being RUB 5 million.

RVC is a state fund of funds, a Russian Federation growth institute, one the state key instruments in building a national innovative system. About the Eurasian Aerospace Congress
The Eurasian Aerospace Congress (EAC) is the largest industrial forum in the territory of Eastern Europe which will be held once every two years. The congress organizers: the Eurasian partnership of aerospace clusters and the government of the Samara Region.
