NPO Saturn wins the All-Russian contest for the best innovative solution in the field of occupational safety

February 2, 2016, Rybinsk. - In January 2016, the delegates from NPO Saturn were presented with the gold medal of the winner of the All-Russian contest for the best innovative solution in the field occupational safety and a diploma of the competition’s laureate.
Back in 2015, NPO Saturn enrolled in the All-Russian contest for the best innovative solution in the field of occupational safety in the nomination “Development and implementation of innovative systems and methods of training personnel in the field of occupational safety over the course of 2014”. Following the completion results, NPO Saturn has won.
    The contest was administered by the ETALON association with the support of the Ministry of labor and social security of the Russian Federation with the purpose of identifying and promoting the most remarkable achievements in the field of ensuring safe labor conditions and preserving the health of operators as well as stimulating the persons and organizations having contributed the most to the development of science, technologies and solving practical tasks in the domain of occupational safety.
    The competition’s main objective was to sustain the state policy and public effort in solving the global task - preserving the life and health of a working person including the creation of incentives to increase the quality of the services, the products, scientific developments and managerial solutions ensuring the required occupational safety. The competition allows to identify the prospective and prioritized methods and directions of innovative development of the occupational safety development.
    Based on this competition results, ratings of the companies are established and officialized with the indication of the level of the job-related accident rate, labor conditions and the work organization in the field of occupational safety, the relevance of the qualification of the specialists in charge of an organization’s occupational safety as well as the ratings of Russia’s regions and their subdivisions showing the efficiency of the state occupational safety system.

The NPO Saturn Research and Production Association (OJSC) is an engine-manufacturing company specialized in the design and development, production, and after-market support of gas turbine engines for military and commercial aviation, naval ships, and power-generating plants and gas-pumping units. The association is part of the Union of Russian Mechanical Engineers, an All-Russian public organization.
NPO Saturn is part of United Engine Corporation (JSC) and acts as the leader of the Commercial Engines Division, a business unit of UEC founded on 09.10.2012 as a result of integration of the following companies: NPO Saturn (OJSC), Aviadvigatel (OJSC), PMZ (OJSC), Metallist-PM (CJSC), Energetik-PM (OJSC), Motoservis-PM (CJSC), and Zheleznodorozhnik-PM (CJSC).

United Engine Corporation (JSC) (a Rostec State Corporation company) is an integrated organization specialized in the design and development, serial production, and after-market support of the engines for military and commercial aviation, space programs, the Navy, as well as for the oil and gas industry, and power generation.
