Shareholders of NPO Saturn PJSC (a structural unit of United Engine Corporation, a Rostec State Corporation Company) summed up the results of the company activity in 2015. The general annual shareholders’ meeting held on Thursday, June 30, has approved the annual report and the accounting statement, elected the new Board of Directors and the Auditing Committee, and approved the Auditor of the Company.
In 2015, NPO Saturn PJSC provided significant gains in product output and sales compared to 2014 and increase in production as well. All the planned volumes set up by the budget have been fulfilled in full. This includes manufacture and shipment to customers of 608 new and repair engines (14,1 % growth relative to 2014). The product output comprised RUB 25,4 billion (41,0 % growth relative to 2014). In 2015 NPO Saturn revenues from sales rose by 33,1 % - up to RUB 24,0 billion. Working efficiency (revenue per employee) reached RUB 1, 973 million (30,2 % growth relative to 2014). At year-end 2015, the profit on sales comprised RUB 4,5 billion against losses from previous periods. The profit indicators in sales were influenced by structural changes of revenues and building a more balanced portfolio of orders and by a considerable volume of works carried out in recent years to enhance the operating efficiency of the company. The overall financial and economic performance of the company in 2015 is so far negative, but the company budget for 2016 provides for the net profit earning at the year-end.
In 2015 the company performed work within the scope of the programs: the SaM146 engine (integrated propulsion system for the regional aircraft of 70-120 passenger capacity), the D-30KU/KP (a family of turbofan engines for civil and dual application to power long-range passenger and transport aircraft), the AL-55 (bypass turbofan engine for jet trainers and light combat aircraft), small-size gas-turbine engines (GTE) for UAVs, GTEs for marine application, industrial gas turbines of 2,5-10 MW capacity and industrial gas turbines of high capacity – GTD-110.
In 2015, active work was going on within the scope of the Company production-and-technological development program in order to create new high-quality production, special production areas and test facilities. The equipment stock has been renewed; actions directed to productivity enhancement are under way. On the whole, in 2015, the company allocated around RUB 3,5 billion to this activity; in 2016, RUB 6,4 billion are planned to be allocated.
NPO Saturn PJSC has formed the fixed order portfolio up to 2020.
