The results of UECs vocational-oriented championship among Rybinsk schoolchildren are summarized

March 01, 2017, Rybinsk. The results of United Engine Corporations vocational-oriented championship Build your career in UEC among schoolchildren are summarized in Rybinsk. The distribution of awards among the winners took place on February 28, 2017 in NPO Saturn PJSCs Training Centre (part of United Engine Corporation, Rostec State Corporation). Congratulations were taken by students, teaching staff leaders, and teachers. Altogether more than 60 students of the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th forms from schools ##3, 27, 30 participated in UECs vocational-oriented game, autumn-winter season of 2016.
The awarding was done in two nominations. After analyzing the final results among all the schools and forms in the first nomination, the promoters identified 18 participants with the highest rating. In the second nomination the winners who took the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the 5th -6th  and 7th -8th forms were identified.
The vocational-oriented championship “Build your career in UEC” was held for the second time in order to present the structure and activities of the enterprises that are parts of the Corporation, goods produced by the UEC companies as well as to heighten interest in engine building vocations. The first game was in spring 2016 (students from the 5th-7th forms of six Rybinsk schools participated in it). In general, the competition takes place on-line in all the cities where the Corporation enterprises are located: Moscow, St.Petersburg, Ufa, Samara, Perm, Rybinsk, Tchelyabinsk, Omsk, Gatchina. And the project creation idea belongs to UEC’s Corporate University. 
With the help of the on-line simulator designed specifically for Corporation tasks, students solve problems of different levels having about two and a half or three hours for doing that. Students are invited to try their hand as engineer-designers, specialists of a big enterprise, to compete with their age-mates in the speed of engine units assembly in electronic format, to answer general questions about aviation, design, and principles of engines operation.

Teachers, head-masters, the Department of Education have a task to orient you properly so that you could be sought-after specialists on the labour market in future. For NPO Saturn, United Engine Corporation it is important that you, young and talented boys and girls, should come to enterprises manufacturing high-technology products and work as designers, process engineers, operators, - said Dmitry Barvinok, NPO Saturn PJSC’s HR Director, during the awarding ceremony. – With this in mind we intend to show that work at such an enterprise is interesting, in demand, it covers different regions of the country and is linked with international projects and that you have all the possibilities to continue your professional development in the engine building field. To all effects and purposes it is important that you become good people and sought-after specialists”.
