On March 30, 2017 a meeting of Coordinating Intersectorial Committee (CIC) took place at NPO Saturn PJSC in order to review technical, constructive and layout solutions of unified GPA-16 and GPA-25, operation issues, increase of the equipment energy efficiency and optimization of ergonomic design approaches.
CIC members, representatives of Gazprom PJSC structures organizations, UEC JSC and industrial enterprises under the leadership of Vyacheslav Mikhalenko, member of the Board, head of Gazprom PJSC’s Department, and Aleksander Artyukhov, UEC JSC General Director, held a meeting on technical, constructive and layout solutions of unified GPA-16 and GPA-25 designed and produced by Russian industrial enterprises for Gazprom PJSC .
During the meeting the aspects of gas compressor units and power-driven gas turbine engines were discussed, design and technological solutions of gas compressor equipment projects optimization were reviewed for reconstruction and new construction of linear compressor stations, booster compressor stations and underground gas storage compressor stations, issues of organization of a full-size of NPO Saturn PJSC’s and UEC-Gas Turbines JSC’s test bench.
The main requirements were discussed which are lodged by Gazprom PJSC to the principles of unification of gas compressor equipment with taking into account long-range needs in gas compressor units for development and reconstruction of unified gas supply system.

UEC JSC and representatives of industrial block of enterprises presented the prospects of gas turbine engines development for ground application at the level of gas compressor units and plant power stations, engineering developments of gas-compressor equipment designed upon principles of unification and interchangeability of the basic units and components produced by Russian enterprises.
As one of the most important issues of the advanced gas compressor units development, the actions aimed to increase of safety and sustainability of gas compressor equipment designed upon the principles of being energy-independent from external power supply were discussed.
After the plenary meeting the participants visited gas turbine power plant and plant power station test bench.
Following the results of the meeting Vyacheslav Mikhalenko
said: «It is already the third Coordinating Intersectorial Committee, which we carry out mandatorily with visiting the plants-manufacturers. NPO Saturn is our strategic partner, more than 250 products which are now being operating at Gazprom’s objects show themselves from a good side. The objective of this CIC – to discuss and take a consolidated decision regarding prospects of unitized assembly with power of 25 mW. High-performance gas compressor equipment with capacity 32mW and more development tasks are of high priority.NPO Saturn’s test bench presented to the participants of CIC, where the equipment mounting works are being completed now, will become one of the leading test benches in RF. UEC JSC’s test bench equipment in Rybinsk in future will allow performance of works on optimization of layout and technological decisions on output products, reduction of construction, mounting and commissioning of equipment terms on the Customer’s objects.
