Within Rostec's united team young, specialists of United Engine Corporation (a Rostec State Corporation company) won three gold medals in the main competencies at the IV National Competition of Cross-Industry Jobs in High-Tech Industries according to the WorldSkills Hi–Tech methodology 2017, held in Yekaterinburg.
The National Worldskills Hi–Tech Competition gathers young participants at the age of 16-28 - specialists of the largest Russian industrial enterprises developing production standards and actively involved in technical upgrading.
This year, WorldSkills Hi-Tech 2017 was held on November 3 to 7 in Yekaterinburg.
Gold medals were granted to: Aleksandr Venikov (PJSC "UEC-Saturn", Rybinsk) in the competence "Turning on CNC machines"; Mikhail Goreglyad (JSC "Salyut Machine-Building Production Association", Moscow) in the competence "Polymechanics and Automatics"; Aleksandr Kulikov (JSC "Chernyshev UEC", Moscow) in the competence "Aeronautical Equipment Service". It is a half of all gold medals won by Rostec's united team.

UEC was represented at the competition in Yekaterinburg by not only the united team’s members (21 people in total), but also by a team of experts - representatives of UEC enterprises located in different regions of Russia.
Early this year, UEC held a Corporate World Skills Competition in compliance with the international standards. It became the third one in the series of competitions. The competitions attended by more than 500 specialists in two nominations "The Best Young Professional" and "The Best Experienced Professional" were first organized in as many as 14 holding enterprises located in different regions of Russia. The specialists who took the first, second and third places in the compulsory competences of the nomination "The Best Young Professional" participated in Rostec's additional evaluation organized in accordance with the WorldSkills standards.
