February 08, 2019, Rybinsk. – On February 9, 2019 it will be a year since a collaboration agreement was signed between PJSC UEC-Saturn (a Rostec State Corporation company) and regional children's technopark "Quantorium" in Rybinsk.
The opening ceremony of "Quantorium" technopark was held on October 17, 2017 in Rybinsk. PJSC UEC-Saturn and an extended education Centre had defined interaction approaches even before this event. The execution of the agreement made it possible to expand the scope of occupational work, extensively performed by the town-forming enterprise that aims to help the younger generation self-determine, give a jump start to schoolchildren to apply to higher education institutes and secondary educational institutions and promote in future to get a job in diverse industrial companies of the town. "The Quantorium" is a domain of scientific and technical creativity, invention and collaboration. Here, product thinking is established, teamwork skills are developed, the technology of problem statement and project management are mastered. All of this is a good basis for bringing up skilled technical staff. Therefore, the activity within the federal program of children's technopark "Quantorium 76" became a profound support to our occupational guidance activity

Many times we held meetings of vocational guidance Board of the enterprise with "Quantorium" teaching staff and we defined interaction trends that are specified in a Collaboration Agreement and are being successfully implemented."
Through PJSC UEC-Saturn's support, young quantorium members made excursions to production facilities of the enterprise, witnessed the opening ceremony of an acceleration program and visited platforms of the V International Technological Forum "Innovations. Technologies. Manufacturing", they passed the training during spring and summer vacations on "Projects management", "Lean production", "Factory of processes", "The basis of invention" education modules and also received case tasks and defended their projects in the presence of enterprise's experts, providing the ability to further use the children's ideas in the enterprise's activity. "Quantorium- 76" provided PJSC UEC-Saturn with its platform to hold "Build a carrier in UEC" contest among 15-17-year-old students in an on line-simulator format in physics using highly-accurate IT-quantum. This contest is held on an annual basis in all cities where UEC enterprises are located aiming to heighten interest in engine building occupations.
Over the year the members of Aeroquantum, Roboquantum, Energyquantum, Nanoquantum and IT-quantum worked strenuously on their projects, won prizes in district, regional and federal contests, took part in conferences, social activities and were fully engaged in hometown living.
"Quantorium 76" Direction presented the collaboration experience of children's technopark and PJSC UEC-Saturn to the Government of the Yaroslavl region, management of New Education Development Form Foundation in Skolkovo innovation center and at inter-regional conference "Topical issues of education development in the Yaroslavl region: 2018 outputs", as well as to participants of research and practice workshop within the VI Economic Forum of the Vladimir Region.
Considering professional oriented activities as one of HR training system elements, every year PJSC UEC-Saturn arranges excursions for schoolchildren at the enterprise, renders support to school museums; the enterprise is involved in holding conferences and skills competitions in math, physics, and draftsmanship as well as in competitions and thematic lessons.
In particular, in 2018 PJSC UEC-Saturn in cooperation with Rybinsk Department for Education arranged excursions at the enterprise for 1 100 schoolchildren from Rybinsk and Rybinsk Region. Almost 1400 people visited the enterprise within the all-Russia campaign "A week without turnstiles" of Russian Engineering Union. The information boards about UEC-Saturn are supposed to be updated in 2019 in schools supported by the enterprise; also, there will be a full-scale dynamic mock-up of gas turbine engine in the regional museum and professional guidance center n.a. P. F. Derunov available in school # 12.
Working on the perspective, PJSC UEC-Saturn has started interacting with preschool education institutions. A competition among preschool education institutions for the "Labor and professional training of preschool children" best project was held for the first time in 2018. These activities are supposed to be continued in 2019.
In the framework of professional orientation activities with extended education centres, PJSC UEC-Saturn concluded a collaboration agreement with municipal supplementary education institution "Solnechnyi" in 2018. A collaboration agreement with municipal supplementary education institution "Center of children and youth's technical crafts" is supposed to be signed in 2019.
PJSC UEC-Saturn's vocational guidance Board is elaborating an ideology and package approach for this activity planning. Upon the company's initiative, a city professional orientation council was established and is in place in Rybinsk.
