March 25, 2019, Rybinsk. – UEC-Saturn conducted a report and election conference of the youth organization. It was attended by over 400 people of 4800 young employees of the company.
The agenda of the enterprise’s youth conference included a report on the work of the organization in 2017 and 2018, an election of the Youth Council Chairman and a discussion of current issues. While greeting participants of the conference, Viktor Polyakov, Deputy General Director – Managing Director of UEC-Saturn, mentioned the Saturn young generation’s high professional potential, active stand in life and real contribution to the enterprise’s achievements. “I always really enjoy and get filled with energy when dealing with young guys and girls. Youth are the future of the company and we will support your useful undertakings,”

. “The history of science, production, big discoveries demonstrates that young people have always been a locomotive of any development. To make the enterprise better is our objective. It has to be understood clearly that among you there are those who will manage the company at different levels and positions in 5 to 10 years. The future of the business is in our hands. For me who has devoted basically all my life – 44 years – to the plant, it is univocal.Today 4800 young specialists work for Saturn. I consider it helpful to introduce regular meetings between the company’s top managers and youth into practice. Your opinions, requests and ideas are important to us because there is always a core of (good) sense in them. Thank for your helping Saturn be robust and work steadily. We have a great deal of problems – both internal and external. However there is one fact – the business is stable, has firm orders for a few years ahead and is one of the most dynamic in terms of development in UEC. Currently the company’s prospective production and sales program till 2030 is under discussion. And we are looking forward to your suggestions for all the company’s development trends.”
A speech was delivered to conference attendees by Oleg Rozin, Chairman of the Youth Council, UEC-Saturn. He spoke about the ideology of the youth organization, its structure and activities, the functions of the Youth Council, work in all the lines of the youth policy in 2017 and 2018. The presentation focused on a variety of subjects and a high level of youth events with youth rallies, the forum “Primer”, contests of young specialists, intellectual games and different creativity competitions amount them. Every year the enterprise holds about 100 social events, including over 20 youth ones. Saturn representatives are participants of major city, regional, all-Russian and even world youth events. Thus in 2017, 16 young employees of the company within the delegation of United Engine Corporation and the combined youth team of the Yaroslavl Region attended the World Youth and Student Festival in Sochi. Thanks to the vigorous activity of the Youth Council and persons responsible for work with young people in departments, close cooperation with the enterprise management, the trade union, the youth organization of UEC-Saturn has the honour of be the best one in the Yaroslavl Region and in the industry of the Russian Federation. Its plan is not to be satisfied with what has already been achieved, to look for resources to improve its work, to pay special attention to questions of vocational guidance, the adaptation of newcomers, the identification of leaders in order to replenish the personnel reserve and to develop a technical career.
Following the conference, the Youth Council’s activity was found satisfactory. Anton Yakovlev, leading engineer of Social Programs Department, UEC-Saturn, was unanimously elected new Chairman of the Youth Council. Anton A. Yakovlev was born in Rybinsk on 25/04/1991. In 2013 he graduated from the P.A. Soloviev Rybinsk State Aviation Technical University with Economics and Company Management as chief subjects. After military service he has been working in the UEC-Saturn RH Director Division since 2015.“I consider the Youth Council to be a powerful mechanism able to realize the potential of young people. Time does not stand still, there is always where to move, what to put into action, what to create,”
