November 29, 2019, Rybinsk. – The "Communication management" training session of the "Succession Candidates school" program was held at PJSC UEC-Saturn's Training Center on November 26-29, 2019 for employees who have become part of the "Top-45" perspective candidates team for enterprise's managers succession.
Maturity of the managing staff is a key to a modern enterprise's successful activity. Forty-five employees became part of the "Top-45" managing staff succession group for key positions in 2019, where 29 employees have been included in this group for the first time. , HR Director, welcoming Saturn's staff succession candidates. – Today, there are about 400 succession candidates at UEC-Saturn, and the perspective candidates selected among them at the enterprise are considered to be the key candidates included in the "Top-45" in order to fill positions". You have developed individual development plans for a 2 year period together with your managers. Based on these plans, we have developed the "Succession Candidates school" educational program comprising of 15 topics lasting a little over 220 hours and aimed at development of managing competences. I am sure that during the training session you will gain knowledge that will be demanded in your professional and daily activities. May success attend you!".
The "Succession Candidates school" educational program is intended to last from November, 2019 to May, 2021 and it includes the following topics: "Communication management", "Basic management. Main managerial functions", "The analysis of problems and decision-making", "Executor management", "Non-financial motivation", "Labor relation management", "Theory of Constraints", "Management team", "Basic leadership", "Operational mindset", "Project management", "Negotiating", "Stress management", "Staff development", "Management of changes". Following the outcome of the training, Certificates for the "Succession Candidates school" complete educational course will be issued.
The "Top-45" group was established at PJSC UEC-Saturn in 2016 for the first time. The "Top-45" group makeup and number were approved based on the enterprise's business priorities and according to PJSC UEC-Saturn's development strategy. There are some criteria to select candidates, in particular the age under 45 years old, compliance of the basic education level to performance qualification requirements of the position to succeed, a 1-year professional sphere experience not less. Candidate's professional achievements and performance for the preceding year are also important.
"Succession Candidates school" is one of the steps to implement the individual development plan of each candidate. The individual development plan is aimed at the targeted acquisition of professional, managing and personal competences by means of training, project implementation and practical tasks solution. The aim of the individual development plan for a succession candidate is to comply with requirements of the position the candidate is supposed to succeed.
The "Top-45" group members, who successfully pass all preparation steps, become the primary candidates to fill company’s vacancies of senior officials.
